Who we are

This site is published by 1413335 B.C. Ltd. In this policy, we and us mean 1413335 B.C. Ltd. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

Who this site is for

This site is for adults of legal age in their province or territory: 19 in most of Canada, 18 in Alberta and 21 in Quebec. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. The age check asks you to pick your province or territory and confirm you are of legal age there. It does not ask for your birthdate or any other detail.

What we collect

• Direct Delivery form, for licensed stores: store name, store address, licence number, your name, your email, your phone number if you give one, and the days you usually order.
• Contact form: your name, your email and your message. Please do not put sensitive personal details in a message.
• Email you send us: your email address and what you write.
• Age check: two markers stored in your browser's session storage: tac-age-ok, which records that you confirmed your age, and tac-age-prov, which remembers the province or territory you picked. Both are deleted when you close your browser. We do not use cookies.
• Technical information: our web hosting provider may log your IP address, browser type and the pages requested as it delivers the site. We do not use these logs to identify you.
• Analytics: we do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site. If that changes, we will say so on this page before we start.

The forms on this site open your own email app with your details filled in, addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you send that email. If we later set up a form service, the form will send your details to it instead, and we will update this page.

Your approximate region

When you open the age check, our host, Cloudflare, tells the site your approximate region, worked out from your IP address. We use it only to preselect your province or territory on the age check, and you can change it. We do not store your IP address or your region. The province you pick is remembered in your browser, as described above.

Why we collect it, and your consent

We use form and email details to reply to you, to set up and serve licensed stores, to email the updated order form on your order day, as often as you choose, and to keep a record of our business dealings. By submitting a form or emailing us, you agree to us using your information for these purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Doing so may mean we can no longer serve you or send order forms.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information. We use service providers to run this site and handle email: our web hosting provider, our email provider and, if we add one, a form service. They handle information for us and only for these purposes. They may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where local laws apply. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep form messages and store records for two years after our last contact with you, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. After that we delete them or remove the details that identify you.

How we protect it

We limit access to people who need it, use password-protected accounts for email and hosting, and choose service providers that use security measures suited to the information. No website can promise perfect security.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, how we use it and who we have shared it with. You can ask us to correct it or delete it. Write to the privacy contact below. We will respond within 30 days.

Marketing email

We do not run a newsletter. The only recurring emails are the updated order forms sent to licensed stores that ask for them, on the day and as often as they choose. Each one will say who we are, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Where this site links to retailers or other sites, those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
