We're a father-son operation with deep Okanagan roots, from a long line of entrepreneurs. We care about Canadian business, local networks, and craft quality.
John
John has always led an active life. He played basketball, skied and snowboarded, and played as hard as he worked. He has run his own businesses his whole life, from paving to excavation, sometimes alongside a day job. For decades he has worked as a heavy equipment operator in infrastructure construction at mines and sites across Canada, and over those years he developed the family's CBD recipes at home before they became Totally Awesome Cannabis products.
Sean
Basketball took Sean from BC to Santa Clara University, where he earned a B.S. in Physics, and on to a pro career in Europe. After reading One Straw Revolution, he took a Permaculture Design Certificate with the Permaculture Research Institute in 2018. In 2019 he returned to BC to settle down with his family and farm berries, where he learned to work with the land instead of against it.
